CCBA® Certification offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) is the 2nd level of certification offered to Mid Level Business Analysis Practitioners. This certification is specifically designed for professionals who have worked in the BA field for at least 3 years. ECBA is the 1st level and is for entry-level business analysts who want to gain the required knowledge and skills to start a career in Business Analysis.
The ECBA® /CCBA® training program focuses on the key concepts of Business Analysis and gives participants foundation and intermediate level skills required in performing the role of Business Analysis. At the end of the program, the participants will,
- Have an understanding of the scope of the CCBA® qualification (or ECBA if on entry level)
- Obtain the required knowledge, skills and an understanding of the key concepts of Business Analysis and Consulting
- Gain an understanding of the tools and techniques available for a Business Analyst to perform the day-to-day activities

- At least 3750 hours of BA experience within the last 7 years
- 900 hours of experience in at least 2 of the BA knowledge areas
- 500 hours in 4 knowledge areas
- A High School Diploma / Degree
- 21 contact hours of BA education
