Certified Associate In Project Management (CAPM®)

CAPM® Certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) USA is the most recognized entry level Project Management qualification in the world.

CAPM® is designed for those with limited experience or without experience in project management but have an intention of furthering a career in Project Management. CAPM® focuses on individuals who contribute specialized skills such as scheduling, scoping, cost estimating project work allowing them to align their work with that of the Project Managers. Others may use the CAPM® to launch their careers in project management or as a foundation from which they can pursue the PMP® credential.

At the end of the program the participants will

  • Be conversant with the elements of the PMBOK® Guide
  • Possess a clear understanding of what they need to know to pass the CAPM® certification examination
  • Learn Project Management principles, tools and techniques necessary to complete projects effectively

High school diploma or equivalent AND 1,500 hours of project experience

About the CAPM® Examination

  • Applicants must take a three-hour closed book paper consisting of 150 multiple choice questions. (25 pre-selected questions which will not be scored)
  • Multiple choice questions. Only one correct answer per question
